Maya, a jaguar who lives at Zoo World in Panama City Beach, has surgery to remove a cancerous tumor.

Maya, a 124-pound jaguar who lives at Zoo World on Panama City Beach contracted a type of cancer and needed surgery to remove the growth. She was taken by staff to the Animal Care Center across the street from the facility and underwent the procedure. Stephanie Willard in the background is the director of education for Zoo World and is very attached to the large cat. The surgery was successful and the growth was removed.
